Is this the new means, or method of expansion of United States influence?
For me I think the most exciting aspect is the usage of tools to send a specific message to so many people, but what exactly is the message in the larger context of American (USA) transnationalism?

I honestly think this KONY situation is just a conspiracy. I'm just going to state my opinions so please don't get offended if you do not agree. Like your article said, there's always been a problem with Africa and Americans always tried to "help" them. Kony has been doing his thing for MANY years now but Americans are getting educated about this topic JUST now? I also find it fascinating that this KONY situation blew up just when Africa reported of finding oil in wells. Oil...the same reason why our troops were at Iraq. In terms of if it is transnational or imperial, I think it's both.
